Help me identify a type of fish I ate, most likely from the Atlantic?

Cool I love all kinds of seafood. And I love to fish and sail. I think and I have looked at where you were and the main type of fish that comes from that region and with the bones like you say it comes from a large fish. Smaller fish have naturally smaller bones. The main types are Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado and Snapper. There are like 100 types of Snapper so that really does not help. But remember it's the way it was cooked that you really want to know. Like what kind of oil they used and where you eat it at. A restaurant or a private home? Bigger the bones bigger the fish and the fresher is soooooooo goooood....
