Issues Concerning middle school?

I used to be friends with a group of popular girls. In middle school, I drifted away from them because they had no respect for anyone and liked making fun of nerdy people. I am the smartest one in school, play trombone, am in science olympiad, so I'm geeky. However, i'm pretty and rather popular myself. These girls started hanging out with idiots and are drinking, smoking, are bulemic, and doing things with guys innappropriate for our age, 13. One girl is smart too, but constantly complains, never does anything in cl, and has sent nude pics to boys. She is also gorgeous, petite, and has new clothes all the time. Boys constantly dote on her and tell her how pretty she is. Will this madness stop? When will boys realize that no amount of beauty can make up for idiotic behavior? I used to be really close to her, so it hurts even more.
