Legal Advice?

I need some advice concerning a juvenile parole who has just been charged with a cl1 felonly of residential burglary as an adult.... What are his options for release pending his testimony against the acting party? What is min-max time he could be in prison? Does anyone have sound advice of what to do in a situation where he has already given a written statement incriminating himself? He has also implicated the person who actually broke into the home, but he sold the goods...
