Are you sure it's a fairy?

Ok here's the scoop me and my four other friends were having a sleepover at one of the friends houses we were up late when we saw flashing green lights constantly. Then we saw a flash of blue light whisk by us while we were watching through the window. Im wondering if it was a fairy i need other peoples opinons HELP!!!!
