My 7 month old babies stool is hard & she don;t like to try to p it. is Mira LAX ok to use?

ok my is having hard stool to when she trys ping it she will stop cause it hurts her even with my help. shes not constapated she trys just don't want to so my frind told me about Mira Lax and said to give it try. im willing to try anything that will help soften my babys stool. but is Mira Lax safe for my 7 month old??? PLEASE HELP!!!!
